Xiaomi today launched its Redmi 9 Prime smartphone The Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime comes with the MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The chipset incorporates two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The smartphone has a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass layered on top. It runs on MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset paired with ARM Mali-G52 GPU for graphics. Redmi 9 Prime comes with P2i coating for splash resistance. As for the GPU, there is ARM Mali-G52 clocked at 95MHz which also has the support of HyperEngine Game technology to enhance the gaming experience of a user. The quad rear-camera system includes a 13MP (f/2.2) primary camera, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with a 118-degree FOV, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
